Counselling
Counselling is an opportunity to examine your inner world, life events, and anything causing confusion or distress, so that you can gain greater self-understanding. It can also be a time to explore the psychological and somatic patterns that may be keeping you stuck so that you can create more space, and consider new options for coping and thriving. I work from a relational, harm reduction, trauma-informed, and somatic orientation to help clients connect with their inner healing intelligence as they work towards their definition of recovery.
Rate - $200/hour for new clients
Nurse Practitioner Mental Health Services
As a Nurse Practitioner, I bridge the gap between clinical expertise and holistic care. While I utilize tools like diagnostic assessments and lab work, I maintain a non-pathologizing view of mental wellness; I see you as a person, not a label, and focus on pragmatic, real-world solutions rather than DSM definitions. My scope also allows me to independently prescribe and medically oversee Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, ensuring your treatment is both clinically sound and deeply personalized.
Please note that while my practice remains open for regular counselling, my medical focus is now exclusively on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. I prescribe solely for these specific sessions and no longer provide general psychiatric medication management. I am happy to collaborate with your primary care provider to ensure continuity of care, but all other prescriptions and medical needs must be managed through them.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
I am honored to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as an independent Nurse Practitioner and Registered Clinical Counsellor at my clinic in Vancouver’s Fairview neighborhood. I offer individualized, evidence-based Intramuscular (IM) Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for clients navigating conditions including treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and end-of-life distress. Because Ketamine can be safely combined with most antidepressants, it remains a versatile option for those currently managed by other medications.

Meet Keren
Hi. My name is Keren and I'm a dual qualified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Clinical Counsellor with two decades of experience in mental health, substance use, and harm reduction. I blend solid education in mainstream psychiatry and psychopharmacology with specialized training in psychedelic and somatic therapy, and extensive personal experience navigating non-ordinary states of consciousness. My core values include trauma-informed practice and a non-pathologizing approach to understanding mental health and distress. I aim to support clients to move towards greater psychospiritual integration through counselling, working with medicines, and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy.
